28^th Annual HYSEA Innovation Summit 2020

It gives us great pleasure in announcing the 28th Edition of Annual HYSEA INNOVATION Summit & Awards 2020 scheduled on 5th Nov 2020. The summit features the Conference, Product Expo via a Virtual Platform and the Annual Industry Awards which will be held at HICC in the evening.

The theme for this year's event is 'Surge Ahead: Win the new Normal' and will explore how Technology and Innovation will help organisations win in the New Industry Order in this Covid era.

The conference, exhibition & awards will take place in a Hybrid (Virtual + Physical) mode on 5th November 2020. The virtual conference and expo will happen from 9 AM to 1.30 PM. The evening awards function will happen at HICC, Novotel from 5 PM onwards.

HYSEA Innovation Summit is one of the most prestigious industry events in the city. It showcases the city's vibrant culture of innovation, booming start-up industry and ecosystem. More than 150 startups and 1000+ delegates, including more than 200 IT Industry leaders, are expected to attend the event virtually, which will feature keynotes and panel discussions, by leaders from IT majors and emerging start-ups. For the physical awards event, the attendance will be limited to 100 people in line with the Govt regulations and social distancing norms.

A white paper on 'Post-Covid imperatives for Hyderabad IT industry' will be launched at the Summit. This report has been prepared is association with KPMG, CBRE and the Government of Telangana. This report will cover certain aspects like how the businesses and Govt responded to the pandemic and how they are preparing for the future. It is based on extensive survey results and one-on-one interviews.

Additionally, Hyderabad's Hot 10 startups will be chosen by HYSEA and HYSEA will sponsor them for 1-year mentoring by TiE by giving them associate membership of TiE Hyderabad. HYSEA Innovation Summit is a platform to recognize and reward exciting start-ups in Hyderabad, and to create opportunities for investments and growth of Hyderabad as a global IT hub.

SOFTWARE PRODUCTS & STARTUPS EXPO VIA VIRTUAL PLATFORM (9am-1.30pm)

HYSEA highlights and recognizes interesting product and start-ups in various categories through the product awards. Shortlisted award finalists are invited to the Expo to showcase their products, with an opportunity to interact with CIOs, VCs, &Angel investors. More than 165 companies submitted their nominations in various Categories such as – Early Stage start-ups, Growth Stage start-ups, Covid Solutions, Woman Led, Social Impact and many more. This year has seen a tremendous rise in startups - innovating in various domains - using deep tech application of AI/ML and NLP in Healthcare, BI, Cyber Security, Space technology areas targeting both Consumer and Enterprise use cases. Another noteworthy observation is a rise of hardware technologies in semiconductor and storage domains.
