HYSEA is happy to announce the 2nd Edition of BizSummit on 9th April 2021 at HICC(Novotel), Hyderabad, with an overarching theme of 'Expanding Growth Horizons in the new Normal'.

Rajesh Nambiar is Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant India, and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. He is responsible for Cognizant’s strategy and operations in India, and represents the company’s values, innovative spirit and digital leadership to a broad range of stakeholders, including employees, clients, government agencies, policy-making bodies, academia, chambers of commerce, industry partners and media.
He is also the Chairman of Cognizant Foundation India, and is focused on enhancing the company’s corporate citizenship initiatives.

Rajesh has more than three decades of global management, commercial, and delivery experience, and has served in key global positions at IBM, Tata Consultancy Services and Ciena India. He is Vice Chairman of the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO), a federation of ICT industry associations representing 24 Asia-Pacific economies.

Rajesh has a Master’s degree in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute and has completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Mr. Jayesh Ranjanis a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) of the 1992 batch and working in the state of Telangana. He holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Delhi University, a degree in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Masters in Public Management from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. He has also done short courses in the University of Birmingham (on Environmental Policy Analysis), JICA training Institute, Tokyo (on lake remediation), London School of Economics (on Globalization and Leadership), Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University (in Public Policy), and Swedish Institute, Stockholm (on Sustainability and CSR). He is the All-India topper of his IAS batch of 1992. He was awarded World Bank’s Social Capital Visiting Scholarship in 2002 and the British Government’s Gurukul Chevening Scholarship in 2005. He has done international consultancy assignments for the World Bank, UN-ESCAP, Sedatu project of Mexico, and for international NGOs working for Youth Issues like YES, Inc of the USA and NMC from Italy. He is a part of the National Pool of Trainers in Leadership constituted by the Government of India, and is involved in training and mentoring newly recruited Civil Servants. Among his other distinctions, he was awarded the Royal Order of the Polar Star by His Majesty The King of Sweden in 2019 for promoting Swedish business interests in India including the opening of IKEA’s first Indian store in Hyderabad.

Jayesh Ranjan is the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government. His assignment involves developing policy frameworks, attracting new investments, identifying opportunities for utilizing IT in various government processes, and promoting the digital empowerment of the citizens. His last few assignments have been in the Industrial Promotion sector as Commissioner and MD of the Industries Department, Secretary in the Tourism Promotion Department, and Vice-Chairman of the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), all for 2-3 years each, and various rural assignments in different parts of the state for over 12 years, working in diverse sectors like Tribal Development, Natural Resources Management, Poverty Alleviation and other related Social Development Sectors.

Jayesh Ranjan supports many social, cultural and charitable causes, and is on the Boards/Advisory committees of United Way (Hyderabad), Save A Child’s Heart (SACH) Foundation, Young Lives India, Save the Children, Sparsh Hospice, APMAS, ML Jaisimha Sports Foundation, Hyderabad 10 K Foundation, Vijaya Foundation Trust, Ushalakshmi Breast Cancer Foundation, LSN Foundation, Tejas Foundation, Magic Bus Hyderabad, World Wildlife Fund (Hyderabad chapter), Hyderabad Literary Festival. Andrew Edlefsen is a Commercial Officer in the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service (USFCS), currently serving as Principal Commercial Officer in the U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad India. There he oversees USFCS operations in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha, helping U.S. companies successfully enter the India market. Previously, he served in the West Los Angeles U.S. Export Assistance Center and in New Delhi, India where he managed several industry sectors including Travel/Tourism, Education, Franchising, Agribusiness, Financial Services, among others. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Andrew was Director of the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Las Vegas, NV. There he and his staff worked directly with Nevada companies providing export and trade related assistance, including market research and matchmaking services. He also served for two years as the first Global Asia Team Leader, managing a team of over 200 CS staff. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in July 2008, he served as International Trade Specialist in the Utah Export Assistance Center in Salt Lake City and also worked in the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development, International Trade and Diplomacy office, focusing primarily on the Asia region.
Andrew has a wealth of experience in international business, particularly in the aviation industry, having done consulting work for over 10 years for U.S. aviation companies exploring China, in addition to having spent several years living and working in Taiwan and other parts of Asia. He was one of the original organizers and creators of the China GA Forum, an annual aviation event held in China which focuses on general aviation industry issues and B2B networking in that market.
Andrew has a BA in Chinese and a MBA, from Brigham Young University and Utah State University, respectively. A private pilot (SEL), Andrew also reads/speaks/writes fluent Mandarin Chinese, having previously worked as Chinese Language Analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense. He has served as special advisor to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s China Business Information Center and has organized several CS trade missions to China and the Asia region.

Bharani Kumar Aroll is the CEO of Infopeers Solutions , an IT Services company, and President of TechTriad Inc, a U.S based IT Services company. He was the country head for Butler America India operations and managed Global IT/BPO services at Butler America Inc. He has above 30 years of experience in the areas of IT, Engineering and BPO services across Manufacturing, Aerospace, Telecom, Healthcare, BFSI and Retail domains. He has proven expertise in Cyber Security, Business Intelligence , EAI and Data Sciences

Throughout his career, Bharani has successfully managed business-critical multi-site international projects leading global teams spanning across multiple countries. He lived in the U.S for 13 years and worked at companies such as AVON, MERCK, MARQUIP etc. Bharani is Mechanical engineering graduate and has Masters in Engineering from PSG Tech, Coimbatore, and MBA from IGNOU. He is a Certified PMP, ITIL v3 certified professional, and an ISO9000-certified Lead assessor. He is one of the few leaders who were instrumental in developing the Cyber Security ecosystem at an early stage in Hyderabad. He has hosted 6 International conferences and many though leadership programs on Cyber Security in Hyderabad, through SCSC. He was quite involved in developing sectoral policy on Cyber security in Telengana. He works closely with TS police on the Cyber Security best practices and training.

He has been associated with HYSEA for the past decade and held several positions such as Managing committee member, Secretary and Vice President in multiple terms. He is now the President of HYSEA . He also served as General Secretary for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC. SHE Shuttle, the flag ship program of SCSC is his brainchild. He was been bestowed with a Special recognition award by the Telangana government for his outstanding contribution towards women empowerment.

GR Reddy did his Post Graduate in Business Administration (MBA) specialized in Human Resources, Bachelors degree in Law and has a Diploma in Training and Development from ISTD, New Delhi (Affiliated to American Society for Training & Development-ASTD).

Kiran Cherukuri – Vice President of HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) & Leader of the SME Forum.

Kiran comes with about 28 years of IT Industry Experience, earlier worked with Tech Mahindra as a Vice President & Group Head for IT Infrastructure & Cloud services business, across EUROPE, ASIA PACIFC, MIDDLE EAST & INDIA regions. He was also responsible for Large Deals, Analyst & Advisor relationships.

Prior to that Kiran had incubated HCL Technologies - Hyderabad delivery centre, and as Centre Head of HCL Tech from 2005 to 2012, he grew the Centre from its Inception to 3000 people and responsible for setting up Global Delivery Centres for several F-500 clients.

During his tenure of 14+ years at HCLT, Kiran played other crucial roles at HCLT as Global Head of Business Unit Marketing, Global Head of Partnerships & Alliances, Head of APAC Captive Business, nurtured relationships & co-innovation with 25+ key partners of HCL T, including the likes of Microsoft, IBM & HP etc. He was one of the strategy leads, worked with McKinsey to define HCLT $ 3 to 10 Bn dollar business blueprint.

Meenu Bagla

Meenu Bagla is responsible for strengthening Cyient’s brand reach, relevance, and recognition in new and existing markets, as well as deepening relationships with customers. She specializes in lean marketing, leveraging digital technologies for compelling storytelling, and delivering business growth with transformative marketing.

Meenu has over 20 years of experience, and prior to Cyient, she served as the Global Head of Marketing at Tech Mahindra, where she conceptualized TechMNXT—a brand transformation strategy that led to a non-linear growth in digital revenues. Over the years, she has held several leadership roles and has delivered business impact for a number of global and Indian technology companies, including Wipro, Oracle, and the Aditya Birla Group, among others.

Meenu holds an MBA in marketing from Nirma University and has completed executive programs from the Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School. She is also passionate about the environment and sustainability and is actively involved in furthering the cause of women’s empowerment.

Nirvikar is at present the CEO at Dlabs incubator association – the incubation, acceleration and investment arm (not for profit) of Indian School of Business (ISB).
He has had a diverse career as a CEO, banker, strategist, entrepreneur, angel investor and fintech expert. He is currently co-authoring an MIT press publication on ‘The Economics of Fintech’ along with Frank J. Fabozzi and Michael Imerman. He also mentors start-ups, including at the Silicon Valley based accelerator Plug and Play, has supported Stanford Seed companies and a Silicon Valley hi-tech startup as a strategic advisor. He is a frequent speaker at events related to banking/fintech/startups/entrepreneurship.
During his career, he held positions at ICICI, Citibank, Bank of America, First Abu Dhabi Bank, India -CEO, and Suzuki Motors India. An entrepreneur and innovator at heart, Nirvikar has been an entrepreneur twice in his career setting up vacation rental and automotive marketplaces. Nirvikar played a key role in setting up the UAE India Business Council (UIBC), steering it as the Founding Director and Board Chair.

Rajanna is a multi-faceted leader, and, over two decades, has left a valuable imprint on Industry, Academia and the Government. His experience spans various countries across the globe, and encompasses areas such as Sales, Delivery, Business Operations, Human Resources, Research & Development, Marketing, and Education.
Rajanna is currently the Senior Vice President (SVP) and the Global Head of the Technology Business Unit (BU) at TCS. Prior to his current role, Rajanna was heading the Telecom OEM Business Unit and under his astute leadership, revenues from the unit grew by two-and-a-half times. Rajanna nurtured and built the largest Technology customer partnership for TCS.
Further, for over fourteen years now, Rajanna has been the Regional Head of TCS operations in Hyderabad, India, currently TCS’s fourth largest Global Delivery Centre (GDC). TCS operations in Hyderabad under Rajanna’s leadership, have witnessed exponential growth, with the number of associates in Hyderabad growing from 4500 to over 54,000 and revenues growing more than eight times during this period. In 2011, a world-class training centre was set up by Rajanna in Hyderabad in 2011, to train over 6000 people annually. Rajanna is the director of APOnline & TSOnline, joint ventures between TCS and the Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and respectively. He was in the Board of MPOnline, joint venture between TCS and Government of Madhya Pradesh, until recently.
Prior to his current role, Rajanna was the General Manager (GM) Delivery and Operations for TCS’s Asia Pacific Region. He was also the Director of the Board of TCS Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, based out of Singapore, where TCS Asia Pacific is headquartered. Rajanna set up the regional delivery organisation for TCS Asia Pacific and spearheaded key initiatives in the areas of Business Excellence, Pricing Methodologies, Management Information Systems, and the integration of Overseas Delivery Centers of TCS in other countries like Hungary, South America, and Brazil.
Rajanna was the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TCS-China, and pioneered Indian IT in China.

Rajesh is the Executive Director and Board Member of Cancer Centers of America (CCA). CCA develops and operates cancer centres across India. Prior to joining CCA, Rajesh has served on the board of CTSH, the parent company of American oncology Institute (AOI). AOI grew to be one of the largest single speciality oncology care delivery networks in the country. Rajesh joined the founding team of AOI in 2011 and grew it to 15 operational centres across India and Srilanka by 2019. In May 2016 American Oncology raised a private equity investment from TPG Growth. In 2019, AOI was acquired by Varian Medical Systems, a market leader in oncology equipment and a 10 Billion USD market cap listed US company.
Prior to joining AOI and moving back to India, Rajesh had worked in various large corporates in the United States for more than a decade and has held diverse functional roles. He was a Project Manager and Supply chain management professional at Bloomberg Financial, New York and has also worked in various roles such as demand/forecast planning, supply planning and project management in large manufacturing companies like Philips and American Standard.
Rajesh’s also actively serves on the board of Hyderabad Angels (HA) as vice chairman. HA is an angel investment network involved in early-stage start-up investments. Besides providing capital to businesses Rajesh takes special interest in mentoring entrepreneurs and helping them with business models, market strategy and achieving scale.

Sairam Vedam is the Chief Marketing Officer at Innominds, a Silicon Valley and Hyderabad head quartered full cycle platform led AI first digital product engineering services company that helps ISVs , enterprises and OEMs unlock the power of Digital. Under his leadership Innominds has achieved 15+ global analyst recognitions as a Digital next company that is uniquely positioned to help global companies unlock the value of digital across AI, Automation, Cloud, IOT and 5g technologies.

He is an external partner and advisor with Bain and Co. He was earlier CMO at Kore.ai a global leader in Conversational AI and Digital assistant platforms and prior to that he was VP and Global head of Marketing, Brand custodian at Cigniti. He also worked in diverse roles spanning marketing, technology, product management and leadership with other leading companies like Pramati, Imaginea (acquired by Accenture), Apere (acquired by Citrix), CA Technologies’ CTO’s office and HCL-Cisco.

Sairam brings 21+ years of overall industry experience with a deep understanding of technologies, solutions and IP-led software services offerings. He brings a unique blend of experience in marketing in both products and services targeting global enterprises and ISVs. Sairam has crafted and driven long-term marketing and branding strategies and launched successful demand generation programs for companies of various sizes across different cycles of growth. Under his marketing leadership the brands he managed were consistently rated and ranked in Gartner’s Magic Quadrants, resulting in the amplification of brand value, mindshare and revenues, with commendable customer satisfaction and investor delight. R Srinivas Rao (RSR) is a three-decade plus IT industry veteran, experienced in business leadership roles - managing large, global P&L verticals and incubating internal start-ups in newer technologies such as IoT and Advanced Analytics.
In his current role as Chief Operating Officer of HYSEA, RSR is responsible for running the association’s operations and helping to realize the association’s vision of “positioning Hyderabad as the leading intellectual capital of the world, by nurturing entrepreneurship, research and innovation, to achieve global excellence in IT products and services”. HYSEA today conducts nearly 20 workshops in a year benefiting the IT employees covering Leadership, Technology and Business topics apart from 3 to 4 large summit events.
In Wipro over 25 years, RSR headed different global verticals and geographical businesses. He moved up the ranks having managed global delivery teams prior to P&L leadership roles. He was also the head of Wipro Hyderabad centre from 2011 until end of 2016.
He had built an innovative internal start-up, whose charter was to provide IoT and Advanced Analytics based service transformation solutions for industrial manufacturers globally. He built and managed a cross-cultural global team and delivered large-scale solutions to manufacturing clients. He built valuable IP and created new business models.
RSR is an MCA from University of Delhi and a PGDBA from Bangalore University. He is also a Certified Leadership Coach recognized by International Coach Federation (ICF).

Uma is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at ValueMomentum. Uma has close to 30 years of professional experience in the IT consulting industry, successfully managing consulting projects for numerous clients in India and North America. Uma has been instrumental in establishing strong teams for ValueMomentum’s Insurance, Healthcare, and Banking & Lending lines of businesses. These teams have been instrumental in delivering complex solutions via ValueMomentum’s software and services.
