HYDERABAD SOFTWARE ENTERPRISES ASSOCIATION (HYSEA)

HYSEA is a unique regional IT / ITES industry association that is 28 years old and has more than 400 registered members, representing more than 90% of Hyderabad’s IT industry revenue and employee headcount. Over the last 28 years, HYSEA has been able to play the role of a catalyst to effectively to serve the needs of its members. Our members include a judicious mix of Large, Medium and Small, Indian and MNC companies from the Software Services, Consulting, BPO and Product segments.

HYSEA’s role over the year expanded to playing a pivotal role in helping the government formulate appropriate policies and extending help in the creation of simpler and more effective procedures needed for the growth of the industry.

The 31st Annual General Body Meeting of the members of HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) will be held on Tuesday, 16th May 2023 at HICC Novotel to transact the following business:

Agenda for the meeting (to be chaired by the president of HYSEA) is as follows:

Presentation of the Annual Report for year 2022-23 by the President.
Presentation of the Accounts for year 2022-23 by the Secretary.
Discussion on the Report & Accounts.
Discussion on the proposed changes to Byelaws
Appointment of the Auditor for year 2023-24.
Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

Time: 4.00 PM to 6.00 PM

Venue: 1st Floor, Ballroom, HICC (Novotel)

Proposed changes to the byelaws:

Existing Clause 5.3

HYSEA will have a special category of membership for Patrons. It will be by invitation from President with a formal approval of the Managing Committee. At any given time, there will be not more than five Patron members. The fee for this category of membership will be a one-time payment of Rs. 20 Lakhs. This membership will be valid for three years.

Proposed Changes to Clause 5.3

A Patron will have the same Voting Rights as the highest category member i.e., "Large".
HYSEA will have a special category of membership for Patrons. It will be by invitation from President with a formal approval of the Managing Committee. At any given time, there will be not more than10 Patron members. The fee for this category of membership will be a one-time payment of Rs. 20 Lakhs. This membership will be valid for three years.
A Patron will have the same Voting Rights as the highest category member i.e., "Large".
MC will be vested with the power to approve payment of the patron membership fee in instalments.

Who can attend the AGM:

Only one representative from each active member company is expected to participate in the AGM. This can be either the person designated as primary contact in HYSEA database OR a designated Proxy as mentioned below. Primary member contacts should confirm the participation by sending an email to info@hysea.in and are requested to carry their company IDs.
Proxy intimation must be given to info@hysea.in with details(Name, Designation, Contact No, Organisation) from your official email id at least 24 hours in advance from the time of AGM. Proxy must be from the same company and must carry a valid company id.
