HYSEA is a unique regional IT / ITES industry association that is 28 years old and has more than 400 registered members, representing more than 90% of Hyderabad’s IT industry revenue and employee headcount. Over the last 28 years, HYSEA has been able to play the role of a catalyst to effectively to serve the needs of its members. Our members include a judicious mix of Large, Medium and Small, Indian and MNC companies from the Software Services, Consulting, BPO and Product segments.

HYSEA’s role over the year expanded to playing a pivotal role in helping the government formulate appropriate policies and extending help in the creation of simpler and more effective procedures needed for the growth of the industry.

The 29th Annual General Body Meeting of the members of HYSEA (Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association) will be held on Friday, 6th May 2022 at HICC Novotel to transact the following business:


Agenda for the meeting (to be chaired by the president of HYSEA) is as follows:

  1. Presentation of the Annual Report for year 2021-22 by the President.
  2. Presentation of the Accounts for year 2021-22 by the Secretary.
  3. Discussion on the Report & Accounts.
  4. Appointment of the Auditor for year 2022-23.
  5. Election of the Executive Committee and Management committee for the period of 2022-2024
  6. Acceptance of the election by the new Executive Committee and Managing Committee.
  7. Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.
  8. Vote of thanks.

The election process for Executive Committee and Managing Committee will be supervised by Mr. R. Srinivas Rao, COO, HYSEA who has been appointed the election officer.


A detailed election process, schedule and eligibility criteria document is being attached with this mail. Requesting all the members (Candidates and Voters) to go thru the same in detail to understand the process completely.


Members interested in contesting for Executive Committee/Managing Committee of HYSEA can send in their nominations proposed and duly seconded by representatives of two member companies in hard copy and duly signed by the contestant. These nominations must be submitted in HYSEA office at the following Address on or before 5PM, April 4th , 2022:

Schedule of Elections for EXCOM and Managing Committee of HYSEA:

  1. AGM & Election Announcement to Members - March 25, 2022
  2. Deadline for Filing of Nominations by candidates (physically in HYSEA office)- 5 PM, April 04, 2022
  3. On working days, the nomination forms will be received by HYSEA team between 9 AM and 5PM in HYSEA office and an acknowledgement will be given immediately. On weekends and non-office hours, the nomination along with attachments can be dropped in a drop box kept with security. The acknowledgement will be sent by email on next working day. Please make sure the nomination is filled in all aspects correctly and completely before submitting. Incomplete nominations are liable to be rejected by the election officer after scrutiny.
  4. Scrutiny of nominations & Publishing valid nominations list - April 11, 2022
  5. Withdrawal of nominations (Only by way of email to coo@hysea.in ) – 5 PM, April 15, 2022
  6. Announcing the Final List of Candidates and Communicating candidate credentials to members - April 18, 2022
  7. A meeting to be convened (Over zoom) by the COO with all final candidates standing in the election to provide clarifications regarding the election process, DO's and DON'Ts. – April 19, 2022
  8. Conducting the election - May 6, 2022
  9. Announcing the results - May 6, 2022

NOTE for candidates planning to contest the elections


  1. Please complete the nomination form in all respects. Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected.
  2. Please attach hard copies and email soft copies of the credentials, profile and vision as requested in the nomination form.
  3. Please do not engage in any sort of explicit & implicit campaigning in HYSEA Whatsapp groups seeking support from members. Such campaigning may lead to disqualification of the candidate.
  4. EXCOM and MC roles are purely voluntary but do demand some quality time from the incumbents in addition to their regular jobs. Please self-assess if you can spare such time and do justice to the role and take this prestigious 30-year-old association to newer heights.
  5. Please read the bye laws document carefully to understand how the association functions.
