With extensive experience in technology-driven leadership roles, including CEO positions at Future Advisory and Beyond Payments, and board roles at MTN, Middle East Internet Group, Adcorp, and Africa Internet Group, he has demonstrated exceptional expertise. He led a pioneering joint venture between a telco and a bank, winning the MasterCard Global Award for product innovation.
Over the past 15 years, he has facilitated business school sessions on strategy, digital transformation, M&A, customer-centric innovations, and cross-collaboration. A highly motivational public speaker, he frequently delivers keynotes at conferences and internal company strategy events.
He has trained senior leaders at prominent organizations like Adani, ICICI, EY, Piramal, JK, and Virtusa on digital technology and AI. Deeply involved in digital transformation, he is currently engaged with the Digital Academy of Saudi Telecom in Saudi Arabia. He has facilitated strategy and digital sessions with executives at Reliance Group's Oil and Gas division and Oman Petroleum Corporation, and is assisting firms in Japan and India on the implications of IoT, AI, and 5G.
Co-author of a best-selling textbook on Operations Management, he also holds affiliations with several prestigious business schools. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business, a Professor in Practice at Johannesburg Business School, and an Adjunct Faculty member at Duke Business School and the Centre for Creative Leadership in the USA.
